QUESTION: How to have a good study habit? :)
Oooh. Can I just say I love this question? Haha. The first thing that popped into my mind was the lazy senior meme we always see on 9gag. :)
I really don’t know what’s the best study habit but I’ll just share you mine.
Here’s what I do:
When I go home, I immediately make myself comfortable. Change clothes, eat snacks, wash my face, etc.
Then I immediately open my bag and check my planner for the stuff I have to do (Having a good planner works miracles. I think everyone must have one. LOL.)
Then I do all my home work first. Please remember that no TV or electronics should be on at this moment. I work, work, work. No TV breaks, no snack breaks etc.
Then I study my notes. My very own notes. When I am in class, I love to take down notes because this really helps me when I review. When I get bored, I use different colored ball pens. This is also so that I’d be interested to read my own notes. Also, some people remember stuff more when they write it.
When I am done, I reward myself by watching TV and by surfing the internet for a long time. I don’t do these stuff while studying because they prove to be a distraction. I really like to finish stuff first before playing, watching TV, etc.
What I shared here was my routine since I was in elementary and now, I am about to graduate. I can say that it really worked wonders for me. We all have our own study habits. I know that yours differ from mine and yours can be effective too. I’m not saying mine is the best. Just shared this with you guys. :)
Other Tips
eat peanuts when you’re memorizing something. Peanuts help enhance the memory according to some studies.
Plan your projects well. Don’t cram. Do a little something everyday.
Use a planner to remind you of stuff you need to do. Always write in your planner. It really works wonders
Avoid any type of distractions. They can be your reward after studying. :D
Ask more questions, please? :D
